Learners ages 4-14 are invited to exclusive, innovative summer programs presented by the Learning Laboratory New Orleans. Genius Camp and ABC Camp usually fill up quickly, so families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
Genius Camp and ABC Camp
In Genius Camp, learners ages 8-14 will:

Complete a STEM project-based learning unit through research, writing, hands-on activities and weekly themed field trips.

Travel to Pensacola for a day trip, to visit the Pensacola MESS Hall (Math, Engineering, Science and Stuff) and have some fun in the sun at the beach.

Identify a specific skill or body of knowledge he or she will research during daily “genius hour” time.

Engage in daily physical activity at Audubon Park and have weekly swimming days at the Whitney M. Young Memorial Pool.
In ABC Camp, learners ages 4-7 will:

Celebrate each letter of the alphabet with daily reading, writing and arts activities.

Continue the celebration on Saturday and Sunday with weekend activity guides that will go home each Friday.

Engage in daily physical activity at Audubon Park and weekly field trips to local attractions including Latter Library, Audubon Zoo and the St. Charles Streetcar.
Great Camps, Great Price
At a total cost of $600, or $150 per week, our camps are an affordable option for families who wish to have their children engaged in meaningful, educational activity this summer. Other local summer camps cost up to $500 per week.
